A look To The East, June 29, 2024, Sistema Gallery, Moscow, Russia

The exhibition will feature works by Turkish and Iranian artists who possess great creative potential and are capable of demonstrating the breadth and diversity of conceptual explorations from this region. Some of them work within a local cultural context, others create their works in line with global trends, and still others draw from personal experiences.

Most of the artworks, carefully selected by the curator and director of SISTEMA GALLERY, Anastasia Volkova, were acquired at international fairs in Turkey and at Art Basel Hong Kong.

The featured artists include: Iranian artist Sanam Sayeh Afkan, Turkish artists Cigdem Aki and Sibel Kirik, Mesut Ozturk, and Ebru Duruman.
